Product name:Permalloy Laminations (UM Series)
Specifications:Customized
Product Notes:
Product categories:Transformer Laminations
Nickel steel laminations are stamped from iron-nickel alloys (Permalloy), featuring high magnetic permeability, low coercivity, and low core loss. They are ideal materials for precision magnetic devices such as audio transformers, telecommunications transformers, current transformers, and ground fault interrupters. Our nickel steel laminations are available in two material series: 80% Nickel (PC grade, comparable to 1J79/1J85) and 48~50% Nickel (PB grade, comparable to 1J50), offered in EI, EE, EL, UI and other standard shapes.
Manufactured from precision cold-rolled strips through high-speed stamping, our laminations are available in thicknesses of 0.15mm, 0.2mm, 0.35mm, and other common specifications. Custom sizes and annealing treatments are available upon request.
KEY FEATURES:
• High initial permeability (especially PC grade), offering sensitive response to small signals and enabling reduced coil turns with simplified transformer winding processes;
• Low coercivity and low hysteresis loss, effectively reducing core loss and improving device efficiency;
• Near-zero magnetostriction for high-nickel (PC) material, ensuring excellent dimensional stability during magnetization, suitable for audio signal transmission;
• Stable magnetic properties with low degradation over long-term use;
• Wide range of specifications, covering EI, EE, EL, UI and other standard shapes and sizes;
• High-precision stamping with neat laminations, facilitating easy assembly.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
• Audio transformer and input/output transformer cores, for high-fidelity audio equipment, microphone preamplifiers, and communication devices, enhancing detail reproduction and high-frequency performance;
• Telecommunications transformers and pulse transformers, for data communication equipment such as PBX systems and modems;
• Zero-sequence current transformers and ground fault interrupter magnetic devices, for power protection systems;
• Spring reverb drive and pickup coil cores, for musical instruments and audio effect units;
• Clock movement stator laminations and micro electromagnetic drive components, for precision timing and automation control.
